I’ve been writing as long as I can remember. In kindergarten, my teacher laminated and spiral bound my first book, The Cat Who Said Hi, which was a great success with the McNair Elementary Room 12 crowd. I went on to earn an M.A. in multicultural and transnational literature from East Carolina University and teach college composition for several years. When I’m not writing, you can find me reading, taking tap dancing classes, or dreaming up new activities in my job as director of children’s ministry for a UCC church. I live in central New York with my husband, our two rambunctious kids, and one ornery dog. My first novel is forthcoming in 2025.
